Secondary School Online Live Maths Lessons for all Australian Students

Mr Huan is a student-centred modern educator who specialises in STEAM education. His goal is to increase student engagement in Science & Mathematics. He aspires to create and innovate the ways Maths is taught, breaking the myth of “Maths is hard, boring and irrelevant to my life”. His mission is to challenge the high-achievers, providing them with opportunities to reach the top and to inspire the disengaged.

Mr Huan loves to be a part of students’ Maths learning journey. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with students and more often than not, he also learns from them. Mr Huan embraces the idea of teamwork and collaboration. He is also a social learner. He learns faster and better by exchanging ideas with my peers and his teachers. Research has also shown that a conducive social learning environment can boost student engagement in a subject. Hence, Mr Huan has decided to launch ‘Mr Huan - Online Live Lessons’ which allows students to learn Maths together instead of watching a series of videos alone.

Mr Huan has been teaching Science & Mathematics for 5 years. He taught in Western Australian schools and he is currently teaching at a high school in Northern Territory. He was awarded ‘The Secondary Teacher of the Year 2019’.

He completed his Year 12 in Perth with an ATAR of 99. He pursued the Bachelor of Science specialising in Biochemistry at the University of Western Australia. He also majored in Marketing at UWA Business School. In 2015, he transformed into a secondary school teacher after he graduated at UWA with a Postgraduate Diploma in Secondary Education (Science& ICT). In 2018, he attained another Postgraduate Certificate in Secondary Education specialises in Mathematics) with Edith Cowan University.
