What a week we have had!
The official results are in:
š„Overall IC
š„Endurance
š„ Fuel efficiency
š„Engineering Design
š„Business Presentation
Unfortunately all good things must come to a close. As we get ready to merge into an electric vehicle next year we had to give it our all one last time as an ICE car.
It was incredible to race alongside all the other teams that came out to comp with us. We had a solid start to the comp passing all areas of scruitineering and static events. We had some trouble starting the car up on Saturday and Sunday. Leading to us missing out on accel, skidpan and autocross. We did not give up and finally fixed our issues just in time for endurance. An endurance event that will go down in history!
We met some of the best players on the grid and looking forward to coming next year.
More photos to come š
Thank you to all our sponsors for getting us there:

We recently pulled our chassis from the aluminium mold it has been living in for last little while as weāve laid up and build the composite monocoque that serves as the heart of the vehicle. Itās a momentous occasion for every team member involved with the build of the car, and highlights how the contributions of each team member plays a huge part in getting a car on the track!
Massive thanks to .technologies whoāve been extremely generous supporting us with the use of their autoclaves to help cook up our machine!

From this⦠ā”ļøā”ļø to THIS. Itās always satisfying to see our suspension wishbones finished up! Another piece of the puzzle done, they might attach themselves to some pretty trick stuff soon š

Pictured here are two carbon fibre and two fibreglass wet lay-ups, the two carbon fibre lay-ups will be part of the side diffuser and the fibreglass lay-ups for the seat. The purple liner is the vacuum seal which allows the composites to cure over night.

Our beautiful water pump delete plate and cap have arrived from ZTL!Ā
This replaces the factory pump housing on our KTM 690 engine and allows us to use an external pump for more cooling power and control. Two aluminium weld-on barbs from VPW have been modified to take an o-ring by fantastic machinist, Michael Scherf, here at the Bundoora East campus. Big thank you to the team at ZTL for their continued support!

Our team have been working tirelessly designing and manufacturing parts for our 2022 car. When a key element is compete, that calls for celebration. Pictured here are team members Thomas, Dan and Nav with the front end plates.
Congratulations to all involved in the aero department in particular Dan, Thomas, Nav and Helena who have put many long hours into ensuring that our end plates are of the highest quality and as accurate to the CAD as possible .
Now that the base part has been moulded and manufactured, the end plate will be sanded down and the livery will be applied before the end plates are attached to the main plane of the front wing. We canāt wait to share more of these amazing feats with you in the coming weeks and months.

We push our cars to extreme limits and temperatures when out on track. PWRās state of the art manufacturing and design allows us to fully maximise the performance of our car and run it in the most intense conditions.
Weād like to extend our thanks to the PWR for our new radiator and fan that will feature on our R22c. The quality and design is simply unparalleled!

Last night we attended the SAE Social Night! It was fantastic to hear from a few of Australiaās most talented engineers and have our R21c in attendance too.
We had plenty of fun talking to and checking their cars out, alongside members of the industry! Thank you to for hosting the event

The preparation and precision required to create quality composite parts is no joke, laying up the carbon or fibreglass plies is the easy bit! Swipe through to see the evolution of our rear diffuser on the R21c, from CAD to reality
Kaber have been a key long-term partner for RMIT Racing, and have been a pleasure to work with each year when creating our aerodynamic package and other key composite parts. As we continue to strive for more complex and refined designs, Kaber are able to deliver the molds and tooling to turn them into reality!
