Congratulations to Cassie our Centre Assistant Director/Educational leader for achieving her Full Teachers Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching!
In Victoria, teachers are provisionally registered for 2 years after graduating with their teaching degree. As part of their pathway to becoming a fully registered teacher, they are required to demonstrate that they meet all 7 Australian Professional Standards for Teachers at the proficient level.
As you can imagine, much time and effort goes into the development of the necessary skills and knowledge to be considered a ‘proficient’ teacher.
We are very proud of the work you have done, Cassie to achieve your full registration. Our children are only going to benefit from your passion and dedication to quality education. Please join us in congratulating Cassie

The children recently participated in a sustainability incursion presented by Little Sprouts Incursion. Through engaging discussions and hands-on experiences, the children explored how plants grow and what they need to survive, including sunlight, water, soil, and care.
The children enjoyed planting experiences, asking questions, and learning about the importance of caring for living things and the environment. They showed curiosity and excitement as they explored the stages of plant growth and discovered how everyday actions can help care for our planet.
This meaningful experience supported the children in developing responsibility, respect for nature, and an appreciation for sustainable practices within our learning environment.

World Bee Day is celebrated every year on 20 May to raise awareness about the importance of bees and other pollinators in our environment and food supply. 🌎💛
At Karl Court Bundoora, our little learners are discovering how these tiny creatures make a BIG difference by helping plants, flowers, fruits, and vegetables grow. 🌸🍓🥕

Today, our incredible Director, Kate, and Nursery Educator, Jackie, took part in the Big Freeze! 🥶💙
The children joined in the fun by coming dressed in blue and proudly contributing with a gold coin donation to support this important cause. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved and showing such amazing community spirit. 💙❄️
With plenty of laughs, icy water, and big smiles, the day was a fantastic way to come together while raising awareness and support for a meaningful cause.
