2025 Design Panel Discussion

We had an incredible time in Sydney last year, taking jewellery professionals through our Jewellery Design Workshop. It was a busy six days filled with learning, connection, creativity, and plenty of inspiring conversations.

One of the highlights was being part of the Design Panel Discussion, where we explored some of the more challenging questions around jewellery design and how creatives can navigate the ever-evolving digital landscape.

For me personally, it was a milestone moment - my first time speaking in front of a large group of industry professionals. First time for everything!

It was a privilege to share the stage with Samantha Kelly, Hazel Oxborough and Jennifer, all passionate advocates for creativity, education, and supporting the growth of fellow designers and jewellers. We each bring different skills and perspectives, but share the same desire to help others thrive within our industry.

A special thank you to Laura Moore, who continues to create an extraordinary network of people within the jewellery community. Laura is always welcoming, encouraging, and inspirational. Having now seen behind the scenes, I have an even greater appreciation for the enormous amount of work that goes into organising an event of this scale. It truly is a celebration of our industry, and it was wonderful to celebrate alongside Laura and her team.

We are looking forward to hosting more workshops this year. Technology continues to evolve at a remarkable pace, and as jewellery professionals, it's important that we evolve with it.

Hazel and I are proud to be involved in the development and education of new software built specifically for the jewellery industry. Through our workshops, we share these emerging technologies in collaboration and working alongside Samantha Kelly's exceptional expertise in Procreate jewellery design, helping jewellers and designers bridge traditional skills with modern digital tools.
