It’s time to bring our favourite stories to life!

As part of Book Week 2026 – Symphony of Stories, our annual Chatty Book Character Parade is happening this Thursday! 🎭📖

Students are invited to dress as their favourite book character and join in the fun. Families are warmly invited to come along, watch the parade and celebrate the magic of reading with us! 💙💚

On Tuesday, we are excited to welcome Charlotte Barkla - Author. Families can order some of her books through the link below. 💙 Bullying No Way Week 💙

This week, our students have been learning about kindness, respect and inclusion as part of Bullying No Way Week.

Through classroom learning, conversations and activities, students explored how our words and actions impact others, how to speak up, and how we can all help make Chatty a safe and welcoming place.

Thank you to our staff for supporting these important conversations and to our families for continuing the message at home.

📚 BOOK WEEK – AUTHOR VISIT! 📚

We are very excited to welcome Australian author Charlotte Barkla to Chatty on Tuesday 25 August as part of our Book Week celebrations! 🌿📖

Our students will have the opportunity to hear from Charlotte about her books, storytelling and the joy of reading.

📚 Families can also purchase a signed copy of Charlotte’s books. Orders need to be placed by Monday 24 August using the link below:
