💙 Supporting Aidan 💙

Recently, our Year 12 students hosted a sausage sizzle to support Aidan, one of our students who was diagnosed with a very rare type of cancer earlier this year.

Together, they raised $365. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, bought a sausage, or helped make the fundraiser possible. Your kindness and support mean so much to Aidan and his family.

We are thinking of you, Aidan, and look forward to welcoming you back home and back at school when the time is right.

A classroom beyond 4 walls 🛠️

Last term, our Year 10 Rookies from Ipswich got hands-on learning at Recar about collision repair, trying everything from welding and spray painting to fibre glassing and mould making.

Throwback to the Sci-Fleet Toyota excursion 🔥

Our Year 11 & 12 young people got a rare behind-the-scenes look at one of Australia's biggest sci-fleet facility in Brendale.

They engaged with employers in a large-scale site, took part in hands-on activities and asked meaningful questions about potential apprenticeship pathways.

Our students walked away with valuable insights about the auto industry and expanded their view of the workforce!

Recently our students explored EV technology with MTAQ and the innovations shaping the future of automotive careers, developing the skills, knowledge and industry connections that make them career-ready.

She said that the classes “really opens her eyes to what the real world is because traditional schools don’t teach about this.”
