Finishing this champion of old orange valencence (with floral herbaceous notes), biscuit and vanilla bean 80s Glenmorangie with the flavour elegant perfect draw Don Pepin My Father Cigar ltd ed, and the 14.4 Distillery exclusive virgin oak Octomore with the almighty and flavour bomb champion Opux X Lost City. Ultra rare yes, but if fortunate to have, best shared with those special.

From Beef to Bees: The Ginseng Whisperer & Her Barrel Secrets

My goodness. Talk about poetic.

After a whole week of searching for Hanwoo beef & seeing disappointment, I struck Gold. And to top it off, the owner's mother upon hearing I'm a whisky maker & lover, showed me her near-perfect home-made red ginseng barrel aged whisky & 17 year old Soju with bees! Honey, Yuzu bliss! And the meat....phwoar! Get In! Oh yes Please! The perfect Korean meal. Hanwoo beef cuts, Cask Strength barrel aged Soju, one Big smile!

And, Boom! Manu's High Octane whisky is ready, called It's Hammertime! Stuff dreams are made of. Just one explanation, F*k me, one of the greatest drams ever! Elegance, spicy nose into savoury salty palate leading to sweet thick spicy finish. Unusually incredible for a Tequila cask maturation, but we did finish it in Tawny. Now, onto our next project. Cheers everyone.
