Kenmore West Kindergarten is hidden away on a quiet leafy street in Kenmore. The learning environment offers the opportunity for children to connect with nature as they learn and grow as part of a community.

Session times below:
🫐Lillypilly Group
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
8.30am - 2.30pm
18 hours per week, including 15 Gov-funded hours.
A weekly fee will be charged to cover the non-funded hours.
🌼Wattle Group
Thursday and Friday
8.25am - 4pm
15 hours of Gov-funded kindergarten each week.
PLUS: We have limited non-funded places available for pre-kindy children in 2027.

At Kenmore West kindergarten we value the outdoors and the unique learning opportunities the environment provides.

In week 9 of term 2 the children in Lillypilly and Wattle group participated in a welcome to winter campfire experience.

In the lead up to this during our whole group discussions the children shared about their campfire experiences and their knowledge on being safe around fire. We also spent time discussing and learning about the elements of the earth through music and stories.

The children were actively involved in setting up as they helped to create a safety zone around the fire pit as they gathered rocks and put them in place.

A group of children helped gather leaves to make lemon myrtle tea and others gathered dry sticks to add to the fire.

When the fire was lit the children shared what they could see, smell and hear. The children tasted lemon myrtle tea and were offered marshmallows to dip in melted chocolate.

We are looking forward to welcoming families this Friday, 5 June, to our 2026 Open Day!

Mother's Day Raffle

What a wonderful term of learning together at Kenmore West Kindergarten. In term one the children have been developing a sense of belonging as they explore and connect with our spacious natural environment. There have been opportunities to connect with our local community with visits from the local fire services, reptile adventures and Braveheart's Ditto's keep safe adventure show.
As we end the term for the Easter break and school holidays we wish everyone a safe break and look forward to learning together in term 2. We have limited spots available for new enrolments in term 2 please email any enquiries to [email protected]
