What a wonderful term of learning together at Kenmore West Kindergarten. In term one the children have been developing a sense of belonging as they explore and connect with our spacious natural environment. There have been opportunities to connect with our local community with visits from the local fire services, reptile adventures and Braveheart's Ditto's keep safe adventure show.
As we end the term for the Easter break and school holidays we wish everyone a safe break and look forward to learning together in term 2. We have limited spots available for new enrolments in term 2 please email any enquiries to [email protected]

Easter is just around the corner and KWK have some fabulous raffle prizes up for grabs!

Term 1 2026- In the first weeks of kindergarten at Kenmore West the children have been making connections with others, learning about the kindy guidelines and connecting with the natural environment.
Kindy Guidelines
We keep ourselves safe.
We Keep others safe.
We keep our environment safe.
The staff have been intentional about connecting with each individual child and learning about them. The program has been responsive to children's interests and the children's ideas have guided the experiences provided.

So many wonderful interactions and learning experiences in the first weeks of kindergarten.

📢 Places available for 2026

We have an information evening on the 4th February starting at 5:30pm, please come and meet the team and see our beautiful Kindy.

If you are still looking for a place, we have spots in both groups.

Session times below:

🫐Lillypilly Group
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
8.30am - 2.30pm

18 hours per week, including 15 Gov-funded hours.
A fee of $40 a week will be charged to cover the non-funded hours.

🌼Wattle Group
Thursday and Friday
8.25am - 4pm

15 hours of Gov-funded kindergarten each week.

PLUS: We have limited non-funded places available for pre-kindy children and those accessing a second kindergarten in 2026.

**Trivia wrap-up**

Wow, we are a week or two behind, but it was such a blast!

Our fabulous Kindy Trivia Night was a hilarious success! Thanks to all of you who came and/or supported the evening.

Notable news…
The Mum table beat the Dad table. Ladies, yes!!! Let’s pause here to enjoy your victory… ahhh. And now the other news…

Congratulations to Claire and Mitchel's table - turns out they had the winning formula of youth (baby in attendance) and experience, and absolutely smashed it out of the park! Well played 👏

Claire was also the highest bidder and won the silent auction for Delphie’s beautiful artwork. A good night to be Claire!

Cruella Deville narrowly edged out Donald Trump for best dressed (honourable mentions to Hulk, Santa’s sack and Silly Sausage).

Kate won the women’s raffle (no surprises there) and the ever selfless Aleisha won the men’s raffle… for her husband 😇 (Aleisha also took all these incredible photos! https://www.aleishagrace.com/)

Special thanks to Bandit (Serg) and Chilli (Amy), the hosts with the most, who did an amazing job! Bandit was a natural on the roving mic… it was a challenge to pry it from his paw at the end of a wonderful evening.
