The nervous system is wired for survival and safety, rather than risk and unfamiliarity. So while you may think you want the big, new and exciting change there might be some underlying self sabotage at play - which doesn't easily facilitate an environment for growth and stepping out of your comfort zone.

Having an awareness of this and holding compassion for those parts that have kept you safe is a simple first step for starting to moving forward.

Only disappeared for 2+ years working on the biggest project of my life 💙

Resurfacing ever so so so slowly and it feels deliciously nourishing to move at this snail pace. Re-patterning and re-learning my interpretation of my world and my work is speaking a new sound to me. Piece by piece I am a student again, with the greatest of teachers guiding me this time. What an exciting new world x
