By sharing my lived experience, I hope that it betters another survivors life. Diagnosed or not.

My dream is that no-one else “slips through the cracks” & feels the loneliness, devastation, loss & the unknowing of a brain injury. It doesn't matter what you call it, Acquired Brain Injury or Traumatic Brain Injury. Please use this page as a way of venting, of expressing and showing people what the world of living with Traumatic Brain Injury is actually like. We have good days, we have bad days,

Last week Koda Bear crossed the rainbow bridge. To say we are heartbroken doesn’t come close. He was such an amazing Handsome Man. When I had seizures and passed out, he stayed by my side, he knew when to harass me to get out of bed, or when I was in pain and he would just lay his head next to mine and let me be. And he had the bestest smile xx he helped me heal, helped me survive. We will all miss him so very much. Happy fishing Koda Bear xx

This young child deserves to be able to see and speak with and know her Palestinian family. Sadly, she probably won’t. 650+ days of murder and genocide. And our government is helping it happen. The Australian government is actively supporting Israel.

Today I spent the day with my family but not of blood xx I have known this amazing family for over 20 years! They know “old Ang” and “new Ang”. And even though I speak with Seini often, I have not physically seen them all for over 1 year! But today felt like it was yesterday. True friends that are family xx I love you guys! X # # #

Can you knit or crotchet? Help build Worlds Biggest Beanie for Brain Injury Awareness xx

Help us make the biggest beanie you have ever seen to raise awareness for brain injury survivors and the invisible barriers they live with every day.

We have come a long way with incredible work being done by change makers around the globe but we still have a long way to go. How powerful our voices could be if we unite in a shared mission to create a big wave of awareness!

Needlework has long been associated with activism for a cause and there is no greater cause than one that is for people that are still fighting for equity in access to resources due to the invisible nature of brain injury.

We are attempting to make the world's biggest beanie to elevate our mission and amplify our voices.

By contributing one small 20 cm x 20 cm square, knitted or crocheted, we can connect people in a common cause to make a difference.

Our goal is 13,500 by August 25th for Brain Injury Awareness week so we need all the help we can get. At the completion of the campaign, the beanie will pulled apart and the squares donated to Wrap with Love, serving a dual purpose. Please help us if you can.... information on the flyer X

😂😂 such a huuuge day at the Gold Coast Disability Expo at Coomera Indoor Sports Centre. Spoke with so many people, the downside. My face is in so much pain! I’ve very delicately taped heat packs to my cheeks for some relief. 😂😂 looks great doesn’t it! 😂😂

I was brought up in the Greek Orthodox faith and today we celebrate Easter. Our Easter greeting is, Christos Anesti (Christ has risen) and in reply Alithos Anesti (indeed he has). So to you all, Christos Anesti xx
Thanks for the picture xx
