Journey Early Learning Corinda

Journey Early Learning Centre Corinda is where your child’s journey begins... The outdoor area has to be seen to be believed.

This purpose built centre where children aged from six weeks to six years of age can make a positive start to a life of learning, development, growth and opportunity. The environment is filled with natural resources which inspire our little adventurers and teach them fundamental motor skills, under the watchful eye of our educators. It features alfresco dining, a water play area, sports field, sandpits, multi-level fort, rock climbing wall, a bike track and more. The nursery explorers have access to their own outdoor area with plenty of sensory experiences to engage their curious minds and encourage positive growth.

Today, we’re dressing up, having some fun and talking like pirates while supporting an important cause — childhood cancer support 💛🎗️

Our little pirates are helping spread awareness, show their support and remind us of the strength and courage of children and families affected by childhood cancer. 💪🫶

Today we’re getting into the footy spirit! Everyone came in dressed in their favourite team colours and enjoyed a fun-filled day of footy-themed celebrations. 🏉🎉

💡✨ Light, Shadows & Science! ✨💡

The children in kindy have been exploring the overhead projector, experimenting with different materials and discovering how light interacts with them.

They explored opaque, transparent and translucent materials, making predictions and watching their shapes and shadows appear on the wall. 🔦👀

A wonderful hands-on experience full of curiosity, discovery and scientific thinking! 🌟

Children’s Rights Fun Day!

Yesterday, we had the wonderful opportunity to join our sister centre, Journey Early Learning Riverhills, at the Children’s Rights Fun Day as part of Child Protection Week.

It was a fantastic day dedicated to celebrating children, their rights, their voices and their wellbeing. We were proud to share how we approach child safeguarding at Journey Early Learning and, importantly, how we create opportunities for children to have a voice, express their ideas, share their feelings and be heard. 🗣️💕

We were also joined by a range of amazing organisations, all coming together to help educate, connect and support our community around keeping children safe.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. Together, we can continue to create a community where every child feels safe, heard, valued and empowered. 💛

Today, we came together as a centre to slow down, connect and have the conversations that matter. Over breakfast on the go, our BBQ and plenty of conversations, we asked the important question — “R U OK?”

R U OK? Day is a reminder that a simple question can open the door to a meaningful conversation. Sometimes, all someone needs is to know that they are seen, heard and supported. 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to check in, share a conversation and connect with one another this morning.

These moments of communication, connection and consideration are what make our Journey community so special. 🫶

And a very big THANK YOU to Brumbys Bakery - Sherwood for the delicious cupcakes! 🧁 Your kindness helped make our morning extra special.
