Earlier this year, staff, students, families and friends of St Aidan's Anglican Girls' School joined together for the Melanoma March, raising more than $10,500 for the Melanoma Institute of Australia. As the highest fundraising team in Brisbane, the school is incredibly proud of the way its families and students stepped up to support this vital initiative.
The St Aidan’s community actively supports the Melanoma March in loving memory of Alumna Emma Betts (2008) and is grateful for the more than 120 members who walked on the night or donated to the cause. Funds raised go towards life-saving research, support for patients and their families, and grow awareness about melanoma in the wider community.

All Saints Anglican School celebrated a remarkable milestone, with the Junior School Cross Country team claiming its 30th consecutive APS championship win. Adding to the celebration, the Senior School team also claimed the 13+ Years APS championship, making it a standout season for the school. The strength of the team was also reflected in the individual age group results, with All Saints securing eight top three results across 10 age groups and taking out six divisions. The result speaks to the strength of the school’s sporting culture, the commitment of students and the guidance of dedicated staff. It was also a fitting final major sporting event for long-serving Director of Sport Mr Fergus Leslie.

Earlier this week, Archbishop Jeremy Greaves visited for an afternoon of celebration and connection.
During his visit, Archbishop Jeremy spent time with Year 6 students, who relished the opportunity to perform a song from their Term 1 Music unit on Multicultural Music. Entitled "Che Che Koolay", the chosen song is a well-known call-and-response piece originating in Ghana, West Africa.
Following the performance, the Year 6 students enjoyed a Q&A session with Archbishop Jeremy, during which they asked wonderfully diverse questions.
From the thought-provoking "Why are there so many different religions?" and "How do scientific and religious beliefs coexist?", to the more lighthearted, "What breed of dog is Paddy?" and "Do you marry people?".
