Please help to grow our alumni community by sharing this page with other past students and parents.For more than 150 years, Windsor State School has been providing quality primary education in Brisbane’s inner north. Opening in 1865, the school was originally named Bowen Bridge Road School, and was located across Lutwyche Road from the present site, in what is now Windsor Memorial Park. The school moved to its current site in 1916, and the magnificent main building with its iconic two towers remains the centrepiece of our growing campus. This page is administered by volunteers from the Windsor State School P & C Association Inc. We practice The Windsor Way – Respect for Self, Respect for Others and Respect for the School. Whilst we encourage you to share your memories of Windsor State School, for legal reasons we are unable to accept posts which name individual students or staff in a negative manner. If you have any specificconcerns regarding student or teacher conduct at the school, please contact the Department of Education and Employment directly. We also ask you to respect the privacy of fellow past students. Our volunteers regularly monitor this page and will remove posts and/or photos that are derogatory, abusive, offensive, or that may contain litigious statements. This page is not to be used for advertising of any kind, and such posts will be removed. If you are organising a year level re-union that you wish to promote, please contact Windsor State School administration directly. Removal of posts remains entirely at our discretion, and no correspondence will be entered into. By joining this page, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to these terms.
