One of my favourite parts of supporting homeschooling families is receiving photos of your learning.

Whether it's a completed workbook page, a hands-on activity, a proud writing sample, or simply a photo of your child engaged in learning, I genuinely love seeing how families are using the resources in their homes.

Creating these resources often happens behind a computer screen, so seeing them come to life through your children makes all the hard work worthwhile.

It also reminds me that homeschooling doesn't have to look a certain way. Every family learns differently, and I love seeing the unique ways you adapt activities to suit your children.

If you've used one of my resources recently, I'd love for you to send me a photo. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your homeschooling journey.

Ever thought about homeschooling with a train or bus timetable?

One simple timetable can cover maths, literacy, geography and problem-solving for multiple ages—with almost no prep.

Try these ideas:
• Find and circle specific departure or arrival times.
• Calculate how long a journey takes between two stops.
• Plan the quickest route to reach a destination.

Real-life resources make learning meaningful because children can see how these skills are used in everyday life.

Comment "TIMETABLE" below and grade of your child and I'll send you my full list of homeschooling ideas using a train or bus timetable!

When you purchase one of my workbooks or workbook bundles, you're receiving so much more than just a workbook.

Our goal is to make homeschooling simpler, and less overwhelming for families by providing the resources and support you need throughout the term.

Each workbook includes curriculum-aligned workbooks, supporting resources, access to support sessions, monthly bonus resources, and direct access to an experienced teacher whenever you need guidance.

I am also excited to be trialling a new Video Catalogue in Term 3, designed to support workbook pages and provide even more assistance for families working through activities at home.

Whether you're new to homeschooling or looking for resources that save planning time, our workbooks and workbook bundles are designed to help you feel supported every step of the way.

If you'd like to learn more about our Term 3 workbook bundles, comment "TERM 3" below or send me a message.

One of the biggest homeschooling game-changers for families with multiple children is learning to let go of the idea that everyone needs to be doing the same thing at the same time.

Instead, try setting up independent activities for one child while you work directly with another.
This might look like:
• A workbook page
• Reading practice
• Educational games
• Fine motor activities
• Drawing or creative projects

Even 10–15 minutes of focused one-on-one time can make a huge difference to a child's learning and confidence.

Remember, homeschooling doesn't have to look like a classroom at home. Some of the most productive days are the ones where each child is working at their own level and pace.

If you're homeschooling multiple children, what's one strategy that has made your days easier?

If you homeschool a reluctant writer, you’ll understand this one.

Math? No problem.
Science experiments? Exciting.
Art projects? Absolutely.

But the moment I say, “It’s time for writing,” I suddenly feel like I need to put on my battle armour.

The reality is that writing can be hard for many children. Coming up with ideas, organising thoughts, spelling, handwriting, punctuation and sentence structure all at the same time can feel overwhelming.

Over the years, I’ve learnt that progress often comes from making writing feel more achievable:
• Breaking tasks into smaller steps
• Allowing children to talk through their ideas first
• Using writing prompts and graphic organisers
• Celebrating effort, not just the finished piece
• Keeping writing sessions short and manageable

If you’re currently homeschooling a reluctant writer, you’re definitely not alone.

Workbook families, this month’s support session on supporting reluctant writers is now available in the exclusive Homeschool Hub section of my website. Inside, I share practical strategies and ideas to help make writing less stressful and more successful for both you and your child.
