Gardens Point was pumping today and the weather was perfect for QUT Open Day 🌞
Thank you to all the staff, students and industry representatives who gave up their Sunday to talk to prospective students and parents about why they should come and study at QUT Pharmacy and why this is such an exciting time for the profession.
Hundreds of lip balms and creams were made, we presented to two full seminars and had questions at the tents from the minute we started until the end of the day.
A huge thanks to Karen and James from Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, Sandra from The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Queensland and Jeremy and Bella from Advanced Pharmacy Australia (AdPha)

Emily has made a huge impact in her first couple of years since graduating, championing the take home naloxone program, amongst other community pharmacy initiatives.
We’re proud of you, Emily and look forward to the announcement of the winner in June

Just a couple of photos from last nights Faculty of Health awards ceremony, and a selection of our award winners and industry partners.
Apologies for not managing to capture everyone, but we’ll update when the official photographs come out.
Congratulations to all our students, it’s a great night to be able to celebrate your success with you.
And thanks to our industry partners and prize sponsors, both for the generous sponsorship and for giving up your time to be with us.
Without you this wouldn’t be possible

We know the second half of the semester can feel like a constant catch-up (especially when the minute-by-minute countdown to Bieberchella disrupts mid-sem flow state).
Keep revision and assessment as consistent and spaced out as you can, rather than trying to cram everything at once — it’s more efficient and actually sticks better. You’re closer to the end of semester than it feels, so just keep it steady and manageable.
If things are starting to feel overwhelming, PharmAssist and QUT academic support services are there to help you stay on track. HiQ can also support with equity considerations, timetabling, and scheduling issues if needed.
May your Canvas submissions be instant, your laptop stay on the desks in Z411, and your lecture recordings actually make sense at 2x speed. Keep clocking it, we belieb in you.
