The Hungry Hut - Celebrate Belmont’s 150th Birthday!

We’re bringing back some of your all-time favourites for one day only! Remember Corntos, Hot Wedges, fresh-baked cookies and our OG Garlic Bread? On Friday 5 June, Belmont State School will celebrate its 150th Birthday with a special Birthday Menu available from the Hungry Hut during SECOND BREAK ONLY. Please note that first break ordering for Morning Tea will NOT
be available on this day.

For students participating in Interschool Sport off school grounds, please order from the limited Interschool Sport Menu. These orders will be available for collection at midday before students leave campus. Please note that we do NOT deliver Interschool Sport orders to classrooms. If your child will remain on school grounds, please order from the Birthday Menu as usual and orders will be delivered during second break.

Hot and cold food items, along with drinks, will also be available for over-the-counter purchase during BOTH breaks. EFTPOS facilities will be available for parents. Orders will close at midday on Thursday 4 June to allow our team time to prepare for the big day. All Birthday Menu orders placed through QKR will be delivered during second break on Friday 5 June. To place your order, please select the “Belmont Birthday Menu” when ordering via QKR. Ordering opens Friday 22 May and closes at midday on Thursday 4 June. Unfortunately, we cannot accept late orders after this time.

🌿💚 A huge thank you to our amazing Belmont State School P&C volunteers who gave their time this past weekend to help renew our beautiful Kindness Garden. 💚🌿

Originally planted in 2018, the garden holds special meaning for our school community, with stepping stones created from student name stones placed by students from that year.

Finn’s Rock honours a much loved Belmont student and continues to hold a special place in the hearts of many within our school community.

As part of our 150th Anniversary celebrations, the garden has been refreshed to complement the mural, with native plants chosen to attract butterflies and birds.

A special thank you to Bunnings Warehouse Australia Cannon Hill for generously providing plants, native fertiliser, advice and the ollas and other supplies to support the project.
