Look how epic Black Apple Cosplays Mei shoot turned out!

It's Mei Monday! It was so nice getting back into this costume I forgot how well made everything was for her (6 cons and shoes haven't broken yet). I am so glad I found Magic Missile Studios for this exceptional shot.

I've been a big fan from far away and I made it my mission to find them to get one of their signature photos. It really makes the colours pop in such a spectacular way. Thank you so much guys, this has Mei-de my Monday ^_^

Back at Gold Coast Supanova in my Lion dancing Flying Bison I got to meet some real Lion dancers.

We did the bows and everything. 😁

Finished this guy in a record time.
Build time 1 month.
Cost to make $250

Mostly happy how he turned out. Needs som extra padding in the body though.

The moogle is finally taking shape.
Only one week before this guy is finished and shown off at Supanova Brisbane. Wish me luck everyone.

I want to thank Black Apple Cosplay for marking the ears for me last night. Super cute and fluffy. 😋

Moogle update:

Moogle head has bee glued together but was slightly too small and a little lumpy.
I’ve added extra upholstery foam and taped it to shape. Next step is to cover it in batting to smooth it out. Then I can add the white skin.

All parts are cut out and the glueing coming together.
Wooo let’s hope it’s not tooo lumpy

Took my pattern to office works and got it blown up to 600%
Now to cut out all the little triangles and trace them in to my 20mm high density foam.

With the pattern I got from the sculpture I was able at transfer it to card stock and then scan it to a computer. I included the ruler so I could figure out the proper scale later.

Once it was digital I transferred it into a program called ink scape.
(Thanks punished props for teaching me how to use it 😝)
I traced the pattern in Inkscape and blue it up to 600% for the right scale ratio.

The I took it to office works and got them to print it on an A0 size page. 😋

Time for cutting now.
