You are not brokenđź’ž You're a mum who has been last on her own list for way too long. Mindset without your body is 1/2 the story. That's the difference. I cried.

I rewire the mind & body together. Course | Journal | Health support. You're one decision away. 👇 Hello and Welcome

I’m Jody. I’m a wife, mother of 3, certified Results Coach and Senior Teacher with nearly 15 years in education. My own experiences as mother, conversations with mum friends and observations as a teacher have led me here to connect with you. My story started 10 years ago when I beca

Can I ask you something? 🤍

When was the last time you did something just because you wanted to?

Not because someone needed you.

Not because it was another thing to tick off your list.

I asked myself that question the other day…

and I had to stop and think.

I found it hard to come up with something.
Harder than I expected.

Somewhere between looking after everyone else, I forgot to check in with myself.

Maybe you have too.

If this made you pause for a second, don’t ignore that feeling.

đź’— Save this for the days you need the reminder.

You call it “just a normal morning.” 💗

But before you’ve even finished your coffee, you’ve already planned dinner, remembered appointments, answered messages, solved problems, and started thinking about tomorrow.

It’s become so normal that you barely notice it.

That’s the mental load.

Not the washing.

Not the school lunches.

The invisible thinking that never switches off.

If you’ve ever wondered why you’re exhausted before the day has properly started…

This might be why.

So here’s your reminder today:

Put yourself on today’s list too. 🤍

Every morning, mums do something extraordinary that most people never see. 🤍

Before the school run.

Before the emails.

Before the breakfast dishes.

Before anyone asks for anything…

Many mums have already fought a battle in their own minds.

The self-doubt.

The overthinking.

The pressure to be everything to everyone.

And yet…

They get dressed.

They put one foot in front of the other.

They show up.

Not because it’s easy.

Because the people they love are counting on them.

If that’s you today, I hope you know this:

The strength you show every day isn’t loud.

It’s quiet.

And it’s worth celebrating.

Send this to a strong mum. 🤍

To the mum giving away her last 10%… this is for you. 🩷

The invisible work you do every day often goes unnoticed.

The planning.
The remembering.
The worrying.
The giving.

You keep pouring into everyone else, even when you barely have anything left for yourself.

But here’s what I need you to hear:

You don’t have to earn your rest.

You don’t have to prove you’re exhausted before you slow down.

You are already doing enough.

So if no one has told you today…

I’m proud of you.

Save this for the days you forget, and send it to a mum who needs this reminder today. đź’•

One day, they’ll stop reaching for your hand.

They’ll tie their own shoes.

Make their own breakfast.

Head out the door without looking back.

And the chaos that feels so overwhelming today…

will become the moments you wish you could have back.

Motherhood isn’t meant to be perfect.

It’s meant to be lived.

So on the messy days, the loud days, and the exhausting days…

Pause.

Take a breath.

Look around.

Because these ordinary moments are quietly becoming tomorrow’s memories.

đź’— Save this for the days you catch yourself wishing this season away, and share it with a mum who needs the reminder.

Proof you did enough today: everyone’s asleep, and everyone’s loved. 💗

If you’re lying awake replaying everything you think you got wrong, this is your reminder…

Your children didn’t need a perfect mum today.

They needed you.

Fed. Loved. Safe.

You did that.

Save this for the next 9 p.m. wobble, when your inner critic gets louder than the truth.

P.S. This is one of the gentle reminders you’ll find in my book, Affirmations for Moms. It includes 52 weeks of encouragement to help you quiet the guilt, build emotional strength, and remember that you’re doing better than you think. You’ll find it through the link in my bio. 💕

Wake up. Push through. Collapse. Repeat.

That is what survival mode can feel like in motherhood.

You keep going because everyone needs you.
You keep pushing because there is always something else to do.
You keep telling yourself it is just a busy season.

But being stuck in survival mode is exhausting.

It steals the joy of motherhood.

The little moments feel harder to enjoy.
Your patience feels thinner.
Your body feels heavier.
And somehow, every day starts to feel like the same loop.

You are not broken.

You are tired, overloaded, and in need of real support.

Comment SHIFT if you want to end this loop đź’—
