St Stephen's Catholic Primary School, Algester

With the support of their incredible STEM teacher Mrs Tracey Smith, School Officer Mrs Michelle Pipia and their wonderful parents, a group of our talented Yr. 1 students entered the RNA School Garden competition. The children had to work in pairs to design and construct a farm using innovative ideas and a range of materials. All exhibits were outstanding with the design created by Ryan and Maisy winning first prize which was presented to them by the Governor of Queensland, Dr Jeannette Young. All children received a medallion keepsake from the Governor. What a wonderful achievement for everyone involved !!

Today, we recognise Australian Primary Principal's Day, and give thanks to our dedicated leaders - Mr Bates, Mr Thomsen and Mrs McLellan.

We are very fortunate to have such wonderful leaders, who demonstrate the values of St Stephen each and every day.

Each year, Catholic Education Week is guided by a scripture-based theme that reflects the mission and values of Catholic education. These thoughtfully chosen themes inspire and engage students and staff, helping to create a meaningful and memorable week of celebration.
