♻️ Corflute Needed for STEM Projects! ♻️

Do you have any spare corflute signs or offcuts? We would greatly appreciate any donations for our STEM learning projects.

Students use recycled materials like corflute to design, build, test and improve their creations while learning about engineering, problem-solving and sustainability.

If you can help, please drop donations to the Science Centre. Thank you for supporting hands-on STEM learning at St Stephen’s!

🌙✨ Year 5 Night School: Investigating Lighting Pathways ✨🌙

Our Year 5 students enjoyed a unique Night School experience as they explored the role of lighting in keeping communities safe, functional and sustainable after dark. Armed with clipboards and observation skills, students investigated existing lighting around the school, analysed lighting pathways, and considered how different sustainable lighting solutions could improve visibility while reducing environmental impact.

This real-world STEM learning experience inspired students to think like engineers and designers as they gathered ideas for their own sustainable lighting pathway projects. What a fantastic evening of hands-on learning and problem-solving.
