On Friday, our Eco Marine Ambassadors attended a professional learning day at Tangalooma Island Resort. The students collaborated, shared ideas, and developed a deeper understanding of sustainable practices, including recycling, water conservation, and caring for our waterways. They gained valuable knowledge and skills and are eager to introduce and share new sustainability initiatives within our school community. Well done ambassadors!

Urban Utilities visited our Year 4 and Year 2 students today. The students dived into the wonderful world of water and sustainability! Our Year 4 cohort explored the urban water cycle, while our Year 2 cohort discovered fun and practical ways to save and care for water in everyday life. Hands-on, engaging, and full of curiosity… we love seeing our learners become future environmental champions! Thank you

It’s with sadness that I share the news of the passing of Dr Sally Towns, the Executive Director of Brisbane Catholic Education. Sally courageously battled illness for a number of years continuing to lead our system with grace and determination. On behalf of our community I offer our condolences to Sally’s family and ask that we keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
