Hi! My name is Hannah, I'm in my third year of university, studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honours). I completed my year 12 studies in the ACT and as such, have experience completing the ATAR system (2017).

I have tutored privately in Brisbane for the past two years, specialising in Legal Studies and English, particularly essay and assignment work. I have experience with specific learning disabilities (dyslexia). I teach practical skills and structures to improve writing and study skills for students of all different levels of capability and understanding!

During my senior studies, I majored in English (literature), Legal Studies, Mathematical Methods, and minored in Politics, and Psychology.

About Nicholas:

I completed a Bachelor of Arts (UQ) in 2017 with a major in history, minoring in English literature and classical languages (Latin). I am in my final year of law (LLB honours) at Queensland University of Technology. I am a fluent Norwegian speaker.

I started tutoring year 8 students back in 2013 when I was still in year 12. Since then I have tutored privately, for a tutoring business, and in a volunteer capacity. Whilst Vice-President (languages) of the University of Queensland Classics and Ancient History Society, I reinstated the CLAMO language mentoring program which provided Latin and Ancient Greek instruction to first and second year students. The program subsequently won an excellence in teaching award that same year (2016). In 2015 I won the Classics and Ancient History Society's Latin Translation Prize.

I am blue card certified, having worked with children as an educator from 2015-2018. During this time I had the privilege of working with children on the autism spectrum, and I appreciate both the challenges and unique abilities these children present. I am happy to tutor students on the spectrum and will work closely with parents to discuss arrangements to ensure their son or daughter receives the best learning outcome possible.

I have a keen interest in cricket, and have coached high school cricket in term 1 over the last 4 years. I am currently the secretary of the QUT chess club.
