Have you tried playing Colouring Fractions Bingo?
Itâs a more complex version of your traditional fractions bingo where students need to develop their own fractions and fill the board before their peers.
Games are always a fun and typically hands on way of reinforcing learning. Why complete a worksheet when you can challenge your friends to a competition? Or work together and race against the clock?
How to play:
Give all players a Colour in Fractions card, two dice and a pen.
⢠Roll two dice and create a fraction using the numbers rolled.
⢠Colour in your card to represent the fraction.
⢠Canât colour a fraction in?⌠Roll again!
⢠Continue this until someone has coloured in every fraction on their card.
⢠Yell bingo to win!
But with most games you can change up the rules to suit your learners.
Give it a go and let us know what you think.
Printable cards are available via the link in my bio.

Does your childâs learning space encourage learning?
If you said yes, how do you know for sure?
The atmosphere of your learning space is more important than the activities you do in it. It can make or break a lesson or experience.
Do your child have enough space to move?
Do they have ownership over the space?
Is it visually appropriate/ appealing?
Is it stocked with all the materials they need?
Is their work proudly displayed?
Take a moment today and reflect on the space. Talk to your child about what they love about it as well as what changes could be made. Build yourself an area that makes learning inevitable!
And as always, continue to spark your love of learning! đ
