Last term in Art, students in Year 3/4 created collagraphs. Collagraphy is a form of printmaking where a plate is made using objects and items to create a raised image or pattern. Students used found materials such as matchsticks, buttons, fabric, glitter and cardboard to make their design on a cardboard base. Once stuck down firmly, students painted their plate and took a print while the paint was still wet. Here are some of their amazing results!
