Zen Goshu Budo Honbu in Townsville. Kuroyama Dojo in Sydney
Training follows the teachings of sword-master Nakamura Taisaburo in Nakamura Ryu Batto-Do and Toyama Ryu.

Last month, Kenshi from Australia travelled to Japan to train, grade and compete at the 27th International Battodo Federation National Taikai.
Gradings were passed, we all competed hard and medals were won!
Importantly, we made new friends and also caught up with old ones again

Arrived in Handa and walked past the Aoyama Budokan where we have training for the next 3 days before we head up to Yokohama for gradings and the IBF Taikai

Hot work but completed all 3 sets of 8 Kata from Nakamura Ryu followed by Sake and a dip in the pool
