On Saturday 1 June 2024 we hosted the (EPSA) Educationists in Primary Sport Association Soccer festival ⚽️

The festival had 6 schools participating namely Macheke, Old Windsor, Digglefold, Wise Owl, Beatrice and Windview Primary School.

A couple of weeks back they participated in the group stages games and Windview managed to qualify to the final games where they took on Old Windsor Primary School.

Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 🥳 🎊 boys for raising the school's flag high , today we walk tall because we are the 2024 EPSA SOCCER CHAMPIONS 🏆 🥇 🏅.

Africa is a continent that spans the hemispheres, from the Northern to the Southern. Africa has been home to some of the world’s oldest civilisations and today has some of the fastest growing nations in the world.

Africa has the largest populations of lion, elephant, rhinoceros, cheetah, hyena, leopard, and hundreds of other species. Giraffe, zebra, gorilla, hippopotamus, chimpanzee and wildebeest are unique to Africa and not found in the wild on any other continent on Earth. We take pride in being the motherland of the Big 5. Many tourists fly in from other continents to see our wildlife , mountains, ⛰️ rivers and our beautiful cultures.

Over 25% of the world’s languages are spoken only in Africa. Wow this is so beautiful.

There are thought to be around 2,000 languages in use on the continent. All are considered official languages of the African Union. Nigeria alone has over 500 living languages. Zimbabwe also has 16 official languages , isn't this magnificent.

The African continent has a unique place in human history. Widely believed to be the “cradle of humankind,” Africa is the only continent with fossil evidence of human beings (Homo sapiens) and their ancestors through each key stage of their evolution.

Snippets below depict some of our students dressed in their beautiful African Attires celebrating their origins. Our theme for this year was going back to the roots. We are Africans and we are proud of whom we are.
