Please allow me to introduce the girl in the middle and her inspiring journey to stardom. This photo was taken in 2023 when we as a school identified her talent in Athletics as a Sprinter. She was still doing Grade 5 then and representing both the School, the Cluster and the District in the Under 12 category at Provincial level was no mean an achievement. We take pride not only in the ability to spot talent when in most schools it just vanishes unnoticed through the porous systems; BUT also our determination to nurture it is golden (if we are to blow our own trumpet). The Zimbabwe branded jersey which she's uniquely clad in is not just a default arrangement, but a prophecy that "This carrier pathway in which we have initiated her shall not be limited to this cock-eyed Manicabridge where the blue sky meets the horizons purportedly marking the end of the world in the mountainous homeland of the Manyika Chieftainship. Neither shall it be limited to this very rich teapot shaped Zimbabwe. In her small childhood body with all its innocence lies a great Athlete who is not just going to represent Zimbabwe in the region but in herself an accomplished Olympics material of tomorrow's world" - Somebody shout Amen!!!! Three years down the lane, Booooom! It has come to pass. Today 19/08/2025 she has left for the Kingdom of Eswatini where she is representing Team Zimbabwe in the COSSASA Games.
