Mutare School of Preaching Enterprise (MSOPE) – Launch of ARDA Piggery Project

On 23 July 2026, Mutare School of Preaching Enterprises (MSOPE) launched the ARDA Piggery Project with 20 pig weaners sourced from Rowa Robin Piggeries in Zimunya, marking a key milestone.

Mr. Nyatsanza, the pig production advisor, provided technical oversight, recommended two vaccines, and supervised initial health procedures. Each weaner received 40 ml of Stress Pack on arrival, followed by feeding after acclimatisation. The animals reached six weeks of age on 24 July 2026.

He inspected the unit and commended the pigs’ health, water system, plumbing, biosecurity, and management practices. Staff, including Mr. Pfigu who oversees daily care, received practical training in pig husbandry.

The introduction of the 20 weaners marks the start of production. Please pray for the success of the project.

MSOP Student Represents Botswana at International Albinism Awareness Commemorations

Mutare School of Preaching (MSOP) proudly celebrates Brother Sekgopi John Mark Mareko Sekgopi, a first-year student from Botswana pursuing a Diploma in Chaplaincy Studies, for representing his country at the International Albinism Awareness Day Commemorations and the Mr. & Miss Albinism Zimbabwe 2026 pageant in Harare.

Brother Mareko, who lives with albinism, was officially invited by the Albinism Dare to Dream Initiative to serve as an international guest speaker, where he delivered a keynote address on inclusion, empowerment, and the lived experiences of persons with albinism. He also had the honour of serving as one of the judges during the pageant. The event brought together government officials, traditional leaders, development partners, community leaders, media, and advocates committed to promoting the dignity and inclusion of persons with albinism.

As MSOP, we rejoice in Brother Mareko's achievement and commend him for using his voice to inspire hope, advocate for inclusion, and reflect Christian values beyond the classroom. His participation demonstrates that the training at MSOP prepares students to be effective ambassadors for Christ and positive agents of change in their communities. We congratulate Brother Mareko and pray that the Lord continues to use him mightily in both his studies and ministry.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Colossians 4:2

As servants of God, prayer is not an option, it is our lifeline. Through prayer, we seek guidance, gain strength, and remain aligned with God’s will. In every lesson, every sermon, and every moment of service, we are reminded that our effectiveness does not come from our own ability, but from our dependence on God.

Let us therefore be devoted to prayer, watching over our lives with discipline and thanksgiving. A praying servant is a powerful servant, equipped and sustained by God for His work.
