Wanted is a Hostel Matron
The person should be:
a) A mature and experienced female adult above 40 years
b) An effective and harmonious part of an energetic, cohesive, hardworking team
c) Professional, flexible and able to act with discretion at all times.
d) Able to communicate effectively at all levels with pupils, staff, parents and workmates.
e) Able to demonstrate a genuine warmth and interest in the pupils in your care
f) Experience in a similar or related job is an added advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Stay in boarding during nominated hours of duty.
2. Exercise pastoral care of pupils in terms of emotional, cultural and intellectual development.
3. Supervise pupils during all times in hostel.
4. Maintain hostel discipline.
5. Provide first Aid, initial medical support and administration of medicines in line with health standards.
6. Do all hygiene practices and cleanliness (including appearance) of pupils.
7. Inculcate good manners and courtesy.
8. Set an exemplary personal standard of dress, behavior and personal hygiene.
9. Do all laundry services and pupils own laundry activities.
10. Report repairs required in hostels.
11. Support, promote and implement school house policies and protocols.
12. Maintain detailed students records with particular attention to the confidentiality, privacy and sensitivity of issues.
13. Undertake such other, duties as the Head may reasonably require.
