*9-YEAR-OLD TADISWA PRAYER MAVINDIDZE LAUNCHES INSPIRING BOOK "I AM HIS" At ACADEMY*

*Westque Academy, AVONLEA , HARARE* — History was made at Westque Academy as 9-year-old Tadiswa Prayer Mavindidze officially published her book titled "I am His" , becoming one of Zimbabwe’s youngest authors.
The book launch was graced by Hon Farai Jere , Member of Parliament for Murewa West and Chairperson of the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Sport , Arts and Culture , who served as the Guest of Honor.
Tadiswa , a Grade 4 learner at Academy , penned "I am His" to share her faith , identity and belief that she belongs to God.
The young author was mentored by renowned international motivational and public speaker cm author Marble Masceline Masigale , who guided her through the writing and publishing journey.
“Tadiswa has shown maturity beyond her years. 'I am His' is a powerful reminder to children and adults that we are fearfully and wonderfully made ,” said her mentor.
Tadiswa is the granddaughter of prominent Murewa-based Regional Magistrate Mrs Loice Mukunyadzi who described Tadiswa's complicated , difficult birth as a sign of a blessing.
The launch drew a distinguished audience who came to support the young author including Mrs Mangondo , University of Zimbabwe lecturer and wife to Murewa South MP Hon Noah Mangondo , Mrs Barbra Gotore , Director of the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe ,Teachers , parents , learners and members of the Westque Academy community
In his address , Hon Farai Jere applauded Tadiswa’s courage and creativity , and purchased a copy of the book for $2000 to encourage her literary journey.
“As Chair of the Portfolio Committee on Sport , Arts and Culture , I am committed to nurturing young talent. Tadiswa proves that with mentorship and support , our children can achieve great things ,” he said.
Mrs Barbra Gotore from NACZ and Mrs Mangondo also commended the school for creating a platform that nurtures reading, writing and self-expression among learners.
Westque Academy leadership said the launch of *"I am His"* is a milestone not just for Tadiswa , but for all young learners who dream of telling their stories.
The event ended with book signings and prayers for Tadiswa’s future as an author and was unanimously named Kenyan based Sally Publishing House' "Young Authors' Ambassador" for Africa.
