We start teaching from 4 yrs of age up. Mugranoce is a company that was started as a dream by its two co-founders in 1998. The two by then had no idea of what the road ahead would be like, so in 1999 after playing around with names, came up with Mugranoce (a combination of Muno & Grace). On the 7th of December 2000, the co-founders got married & for a while Mugranoce's dreams were shelved with th
e 'realities' of life: establishing a family, getting jobs for income, and raising children. Due to Zimbabwe's roller-coaster economy, they left for Zambia in 2007 to seek a better economic situation for their family. After working a while, they began to refocus on Mugranoce. The Company logo was designed by Kabwe Mwesa (our nephew) and has remained unchanged since he designed it in 2008. Both co-founders, having a love for music, decided to take Music education to another level not known in Zambia. We rented a full house in Lusaka and turned the cottage areas into classes and began our first music school along with having teaching contracts at American International School (AIS), in Lusaka, Zambia to name a few. We gained great traction, respect and experiences in Lusaka which helped push Mugranoce to life. However, due to our desire to build a more permanent business, we decided to return back to Zimbabwe and grow Mugranoce there. It seemed like su***de to many, but we haven't regretted it to date.
2013, saw Mugranoce hit Zimbabwe. It was a painful road to where we are today. Starting with two students, not accepted in most schools, Mugranoce's dream was slowly fading. Eventually, the vision was graced by God leaving no option but for the feeling to manifest - doors began to open. We thank those parents who helped us up (Mutsa Nyahue, Sandra LeVieux, Nikki Searle, Vicki Samuels) by spreading the word to others of us and believing in our product and services. One by one students began to increase. We thank all our parents who have ever walked into our doors for any of our services... it is you who have helped us be where we are and we thank God for you all. As of 2017, we were in over 5 private schools providing extracurricular lessons in Music. Schools include - St. John's Primary, Chisipite Junior School, Hellenic Primary and Silver Linings, Gateway Primary School, Sharon School, and many emerging home-based schools that have taken on our services. Trust in God, perseverance of the feeling of our desire (faith), daily patience, and living in the flow; dedication to the vision, service; innovative minds and lack of fear about tomorrow and change are making Mugranoce the place you want your child or yourself to be to achieve your musical excellence. We forge ahead to be the biggest music academy in Zimbabwe. Praise God.
