The Benefits of Pool-Based Training 🏋👏
Zero to Low Impact: Buoyancy significantly reduces the effects of gravity. When submerged to the chest, the body only bears about 25–35% of its actual weight. This allows for high-intensity cardiovascular work without the joint stress associated with running or jumping on land.
Improved Circulation: Water exerts hydrostatic pressure on the body. This pressure helps push blood back toward the heart more efficiently, which can lower the working heart rate compared to similar exertion on land while still providing a heavy caloric burn.
