Provincial Consumer Protection Officer Manicaland doing awareness program educating retailers to desist from disclaimer clauses, which has since been outlawed by the Consumer Protection Act ch 14:44. This will go a long way in reducing the conflicts that are referred for Conciliation and Arbitration process, which is the new mandate given to CCZ

Did you know; A consumer may rescind a transaction resulting from any direct marketing without reason or penalty, by verbal or written notice to the supplier, within five business days after the later of the date on which— (a) the transaction or agreement was concluded; or (b) the goods that were the subject of the transaction were delivered to the consumer
