over the years we have taken in livestock which we have turned into a touch farm. we have rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, geese, chickens, donkeys, goats and sheep. we welcome schools to come and visit.
we are open 7 days a week from 8am to 5pm - closed between 12 -1

the operations of the foundation were originally financed by a trust set up by jean friend prior to her death in 1999. jean, a colourful lady, who loved animals more than she loved people, bought phillipas kennels in 1997 for the SPCA. when they didnt need it,she opened it as her own animal rescue organization.
she died in 1999 of cerable malaria and left part of her fortune to animal welfare.
we have a chairman and a board of trustees. the foundation has helped various charities in the past - chipingali in bulawayo, ticky hywood, spca and cheetah rescue.
in 200 friend foundation kenneled displaced farmers animals for free and helped with transporting them to south africa with british airways comair and wet nose animal rescue.
