It is with a sad heart that we learnt of the unexpected passing on of Professor Keo as she was affectionately known in the STEM family. Thank you for sharing your last week inspiring, motivating and having us enjoying and dancing in the beauty of STEM sisterhood at the GA held in Columbia (3_7 November).
We are beyond gutted and extend our condolences to Professor Keo's loved ones, OWSD SA where she was the new chair , Global Health Biotech, a leading organization in medical sciences that she was CEO and founder of, Universities , colleagues, students, and SA as a whole.
May your torch burn on in us and your light will never die in the young scientists you touched in your time here.

π OWSD Zimbabwe Pilot Study: Inspiring the Next Generation of Women in STEM! π¬β¨
We recently wrapped up 5 impactful outreach sessions under the OWSD Pilot Study, reaching brilliant young minds and igniting their passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)!
π Schools Visited:
Monte Cassino, Arundel, Eveline Girls High, Roosevelt and Melrite School
These outreaches created safe spaces for young girls to dream, question, and aspire to become future scientists, innovators, and change-makers. From engaging conversations to powerful mentorship moments, the energy was electric, and the hope is real!
π‘ Our Goal: To inspire, empower, and support more young women to pursue STEM careers and break barriers in science and innovation across Zimbabwe.
A big thank you to all facilitators, school heads, students, and the OWSD Zimbabwe Chapter for making this pilot study a success! Letβs keep lighting the fire for women in STEM π₯π©π½βπ¬π©πΎβπ»
