The book of *Acts* begins with the coming of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4). This event marked the beginning of the early Christian church and the empowerment of believers for *ministry* and *service* .

The Holy Spirit gives jobs, work, and acts - or, in other words, He equips and enables believers for various *ministries, tasks, and acts of service.*

The Holy Spirit continues to empower believers today for various forms of ministry and service.

Genesis 49:10:

"The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until tribute comes to him; and unto him shall be the gathering of the people." (KJV)

"Men are happiest when they are building:

- A Body (physical and spiritual strength)
- A Family (loving relationships)
- A Home (stable foundation)
- A Business (purposeful enterprise)
- A Ministry (serving others)

"Unstoppable!

"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." - 1 Timothy 4:12

Remember, when God initiates a work, NO ONE can stop it! 🙅🏾‍♂️(Acts 5:38-42)

Romans 10:14-16 (NIV)

And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!'"

1. Hearing God's Word requires preaching.
2. Preaching requires sending (by God).
3. Belief comes from hearing.

Luke 4:18:

HOPE FOR THE HOPELESS
