AFM in Zim Education Department

in Zimbabwe established a well-structured Education department clearly defined in the governance structure of the church with an Education Department with a clear mandate operationalized by Education Secretariat. Mandate & Objectives of AFM in Zimbabwe Objectives
Overally, the Board of Education has the responsibility over all theological and secular educational institutions, programs and activities in the AFM in Zimbabwe (Section 25 of the AFM in Zimbabwe Constitution). Basing on this mandate, the Board of Education pursues the following objectives:
• Train and equip pastoral candidates and part time workers for ministry in the AFM and the body of Christ at large, and capacity building of lay workers and pastors
• Offer social services through provision of school facilities in line with national educational standards and United Nations Sustainable Development Goal number 4 (SDG4- Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all).
• Use established educational institutions as channels for evangelism.
