The Nature and Power of God

2 Peter 1:4

When it comes to the nature of God, you have to start from an understanding that it has been given to you both as a gift and a personal possession. Eventually, there has to be a graduation from having His nature as a gift into becoming the very nature of God.

At that point of becoming, you can no longer lose the nature of God because that is you. As long as you have yourself then you have the nature of God. When you then compare your output, you will find that what you do and achieve by 'having' the nature of God will be less than what you realise from 'being' His nature.

This is the same with God's power. At a certain level of spirituality, you need to keep seeking and asking God for His power. But as you mature, you realise that the little power that you received from God must be developed until you become an expression of that very power. Where it gets to a level where God does not use His power through you, but uses you as an expression of His power.

2 corinthians 5:19 Isaiah 54:17

The 'world' in the scripture above is in reference to, not just humanity, but to all creation. If God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, it means Jesus brought back every creature to it's Maker, because everything had rebelled against God.

So, with that word of reconciliation that has been committed to you, it means there is no weapon that an enemy can use to attack you because you are one with the God who has been reconciled to all things. If, for example, your enemy would want to use the roots of a tree to make a charm against you, or to go under the sea; or to fashion an arrow against you - all those attempts will be unsuccessful because everything from the tree, to the sea or even to the iron in the arrow is now one with you. By the time the arrow arrives, there is a relationship between you and the weapon because of the word of reconciliation.

This is why the bible says you shall eat deadly things but they will by no means not hurt you. You are reconciled to and made one with creation so it cannot harm you, just as no poison is lethal to itself. Once you become one with everything God has created nothing can fight you.
