L'Arche Zimbabwe

We are people with and without intellectual disabilities and sharing life in a community belonging to an International Federation.

L'Arche is a french word for "The Ark". Jean Vanier wanted to care for the people with intellectual disabilities but the people did not want to be cared for, they wanted friendship and relationship. He was a university professor but found he was a student of the heart learning from the people with disabilities. Come experience and discover what people with learning disabilities can give and teach you.
