TCC celebrates 7 years in 2026 with reduced term school fees of $60 primary, $80 Form 1, $90 Form 2-5 Thornhill Christian College (TCC) is registered with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education and is ZIMSEC accredited. It is in MAFARA district in the Harare Metropolitan province. It is a member of ISASA. The practical subjects on offer in 2023 are Agriculture, Textile Technology and Art. Our school fees are $80 per term. All learners are required to communicate in English whenever they are doing school business except during Shona language lesson. TCC is premised on biblical Adventist values and enrol learners from all walks of life. Each learner is required to own a KJV English bible and SDA hymnal for use during devotion. Learners purchase stationery and textbooks and all must be covered and labelled in line with school branding. TCC is a no drug abuse institution. It adheres to unhu values which requires each stakeholder to treat each other in the way s/he wants to be treated. The school is no place for bullies and uncooperative learners and parents. As an independent fee paying institutions, full term school fees and levy are due before or on day of beginning. Parents are consulted before fees/levy reviews. Special levies will be charged in line with school operational requirements. The school fees/levies are deposited into school CBZ 26147310015 (Current account) or 26147310025 (FCANOSTRO), code 021 with a REF: Name of learner, grade and purpose of the money stated. During April and August holidays the school hosts Vacation/holiday classes at a fee for all the grades. Parental involvement and Prefects Board are key pillars for the governance of TCC. Each parents on each term will be required to attend one parents meeting, book inspection session and any urgent requests. School reports are issued at the end of each term and need be returned at the opening of the subsequent term for safe keep for next use. In terms of uniform, all learners will be required to dress on prescribed uniform in line with the season of the year. Uniforms are sold at the school and some at approved suppliers to ensure brand enhancement. School policies are deposited on www.thornhillcc.co.za under 'governance'. Feedback is critical for service delivery enhancement and TCC requires parents and learners to complete termly 'satisfactory surveys'. Our broad curriculum requires learners to blend theory and practicals, field trips and educational tours. It is within this context that a child must attend mega tours arranged by departments without fail. Sports participation is essential for all learners so that we live the TCC motto which is to 'unleash God-given talents'. Wifi usage is strictly for educational purposes. Learners are encouraged to bring packed food or money for them to purchase foodstuff from the school tuckshop. The school gate is closed when assembly begins and is opened when classes of a particular session finishes.
