Today we celebrate and bring light to our precious pupils with Autism! 🤩 they constantly teach us to see the world differently and help us see perspective when our own minds are clouded.

Autism is a spectrum and while there are similarities, each person is uniquely different. Take time to learn, read and understand more about Autism and how you can create a safer, more inclusive space for individuals on the spectrum 🧩

Our crazy socks for World Down Syndrome Day! 💫🧦 we love the joy this day brings and how it brightens our classrooms by simply wearing socks!!

Today is a reminder to celebrate our differences and create more inclusive environments. It’s a reminder to ask more questions and gain more knowledge so you too can be a part of creating a kinder world!

Our crazy socks are here! 🤩 We will be selling our colorful socks again as our annual school fundraiser and to raise awareness for World Down Syndrome Day! 💫 Be sure to wear them on March 21st as we celebrate and raise awareness for all with DS.

Socks can be purchased from Silver Linings School for $5.

Why colorful socks? Some think that mismatched socks look like chromosomes. Sooo we rock our colorful socks on March 21st because of the extra 21 chromosome.

We loved our morning together and seeing our pupils do their best in the pool! 💦

A huge thank you to Mrs. Grant for getting our pupils prepped and ready and the Hellenic Grade 7’s for being our ‘helpers’!

Yesterday we had a fun morning for our Life Skills lesson, visiting Trauma Center Borrowdale 🏥

Getting some essential health checks, learning about the equipment and mostly, developing more confidence and comfort in these environments for when we do need to visit the doctor 🩺

A huge thank you to the Trauma Center Borrowdale nurses and staff, and Dr. Chihaka for hosting us and making our time with you fun, easy and engaging!! 💫

Last weekend, our Seniors went on their annual camp to Tree of Life 🌴

Such a fun few days! Expanding their boundaires, trying new activities, conquering fears and enjoying time together - our pupils had the best time 🤩
