I first met Munyaradzi Mutukura, alias Munya Brown, in Chinhoyi during the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises commemorations in July 2024. As sure as anything, I fell in love with his works. I got attracted to this humble, focused, soft spoken and somehow very calculative guy's work. He had this humongous quad bike which even the dignitaries in attendance could not hide their utter shock.

Unfortunately for me I saw beyond the awe. I saw beyond the now. I vowed to do everything in my power, not just to help, Munya, but I started calculating how we could work together, how we could collaborate and change the narrative from both ends. We discussed the partnership possibility and my team at the school bought the proposal, so we were good to go.

Immediately we got him to come to Harare, we made a few engagements, but nothing really materialised. We kept the conversations live. We pushed everyday, but when it all looked like it was all dead, something beautiful happened.

Sabino Canyon, being Sabino Canyon, hit a nugget.

Fast forward, we made our way to the Presidential Innovation Awards.

We killed it, ask anyone who was there.
We were truly humbled by the support we got from all of you.

Support Munya, support Sabino Canyon International College, the power team, the innovative team!!

Thank you

Sabino Canyon in partnership with Munya Brown stole the show at HICC

It was such a hype at the @ in Harare, September 17 and 18, 2024. Sabino Canyon stole the limelight as their man-made motor bike made the rounds. Innovation at its best.

This motor bike came all the way from Rusununguko, Chinhoyi by road. The fuel consumption is amazing, can you imagine it only took 4 litres of petrol at an average speed of 70km/hour to travel some 115km

Our mantra, talent identification, talent nurturing and talent promotion was proven beyond doubt.

Munya Brown, the innovator was in attendance and he did not disappoint. This motor bike was tye centre of attraction. His two assistance, (son), grade 3 and grade 5; Brown and Junior respectively kept a close eye on the goings-on and it was truly amazing, I tell you.

The 2 days were well spent, fellow exhibitors that included universities, teacher's and technical colleges as well as government officials, we're left speechless with this mastery.

Keep on innovating Munya, Munya Mutukura. SCIC is there to promote this great work.
