INTRODUCTION
Rockland Christian College is an academic institution that has been operating for the past twelve years. Registered as a sole ownership, the institution has one Director as and staff compliment of six teachers with a target of eight teachers. The College is on lease on the above address in Westlea, Harare boasting of a student turnover of 132 students in just the second year running and has continued to grow remarkably since then. The Institution boasts of three campuses namely Rockland Westlea, Rockland Cashel Valley Chimanimani and Rockland Marimba

PROJECT BACKGROUND
The Director set up the institution in 2011 after an extensive research that covered the national policies on education, the state’s role, capacity and the role of the private institutions in complementing the Ministry of Education Act and the empowerment drive. This project is therefore a pinnacle in the economic recovery and development as it seeks to compliment government efforts in education and subsequently widen the country’s work force base (being depleted by the brain drain) and providing affordable tuition to the under-privileged in our society. The College is in tandem with the Government policy on Gender equality, thus has a vast curriculum that caters and empowers female students at par.

VISION
To become the best school of choice in Zimbabwe and Africa in academic excellence, technical, sporting and cultural activities in a dynamic Christian environment with equal resources, information and opportunities.

MISSION STATEMENT
- Rockland Christian College strives to achieve what is embodied is the two arms of the school motto “INVEST IN EDUACATION, AN ASSET WITHOUT RISK”. It success lies in team work based on the active participation an total unwavering support from all stakeholders being the students, staff, parents and community at large.
