June: The month of Grace

Luke 1:28 And he came to her and said, Hail, O favored one [endued with grace]! The Lord is with you! Blessed (favored of God) are you before all other women!

Mary was a virgin, betrothed or engaged to Joseph. Bring a virgin meant she had kept herself pure and was awaiting her wedding day. And in that time and process, she encounters Gabriel an angel who declares to her that she is endured with grace and highly favored.

Remember when we began, we explained that grace is being given something you didn’t deserve. So Mary being highly favored meant she highly didn’t deserve. She was unworthy naturally of receiving anything. But God has a way of gracing those who didn’t highly deserve.

I decree and declare, that this season, you will be endured with grace. May angels and divine hosts be activated to tell you what the lord has planned for you. May grace qualify you to see and receive angels and divine favor. Uour season of dryness is over. Your season of angelic visitation is now. Good news is coming your way and favor is your portion. You shall receive of God because you are endowed with grace

The year of transformation

June: The month of Grace

Matthew 14:28 And Peter answered Him, Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.

Grace has a way of locating people who did not have a chance or ability to be in certain places or dimensions. First, Jesus could have chosen priests or Pharisees to be his disciples, but he chose ordinary man. Fishermen who had no school to be entrusted with the gospel. This was Grace. Then out of those fishermen, Peter was called out to come out from among them. Jesus could just have left them thinking He was a ghost, but he called out Peter and said come upon the waters.

This month of Grace, may you be called out to your miracle and testimony. There are boats you have been that are in storms, being tossed to and fro by winds. But Jesus is calling you to walk in the storm this month. The same water tossing your boat, when Jesus intervenes and graces you, you will walk on it.

I declare grace to dominate the same things that overpowered you before. Come out of that boat of miscarriages, failure, bareness, dryness, lack, limitation, anti marriage, anti progress. Grace is saying come out and walk above it. Receive grace to conquer the past and move into higher realms.

June: The month of Grace

2 Corinthians 12:9 But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

We proceed in the season of Grace. Paul had a condition, and three times he pleaded with the Lord to take it away. He wanted divine intervention and he prayed for an answer. The answer came but not as he expected.

God gave Him an assurance that in your condition, you have sufficient grace. The problem was to remain but He was to carry grace. Many Christians have not understood this dimension in life where at times, God doesn’t give you healing but He gives you sufficient grace to live beyond the sickness. Oh my, yes sufficient grace.

I declare that in this season , you may get to understand where you are at in life. You may be facing a storm, have you received sufficient grace to survive the storm? Grace is one of Gods biggest gift to you and knowing it and receiving it are important aspects of a Christian’s life.

Receive sufficient grace and live a joyful, victorious life

June: The month of Grace

Romans 5:17 For if because of one man's trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God's] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

Welcome to the month of June. We are transitioning from the season of Reflection to a season of Grace. Grace is Charis in Greek and it denotes unmerited favor. It is different from mercy. Mercy is not being given what you deserve, but Grace is getting what you don’t deserve.

As you begin this month, Paul says you are receiving abundance of Grace. And because of the abundance tug shall reign in this life.

I pray that in this month of Grace, you begin to reign, you begin to dominate, you begin to subdue, you begin to multiply, you begin to wax great.

Glory be to Jesus for it’s no longer just a declaration, but the manifestation of grace is happening. You shall experience abundant and overflowing grace in Jesus name.

Be blessed

May: The month of Reflection

Judges 11:3
"So Jephthah fled from his brothers and settled in the land of Tob, where a gang of scoundrels gathered around him and followed him."

Yesterday we saw Solomon become a mirror. He didn't change his wives; they changed him. He reflected their gods, their values, and their compromises. His reflection was passive and destructive. He looked at pleasure and power, and he became ugly.

Today we meet Jephthah. He fled to the land of Tob, and a gang of empty men attached themselves to him. The Hebrew word is Laqat—which implies they clung to him like harvest workers gathering grain. They didn't recruit him. They attached themselves to him because they saw something worth following. He did not become like them. The mirror did not reflect the room. The room reflected the mirror. That is what a true season of reflection produces: a person so solid that others attach themselves to you, not you to them.

When you become like a magnet, you don't just stay clean yourself—you begin to magnetize others. The empty men who attached themselves to Jephthah were changed by his presence. He didn't become one of them; they began to reflect him. A magnet does not repel the nails; it lifts them. Your season of reflection is not so you can hide from the world, but so you can enter it and lift those who are scattered. Jesus said, "They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world" (John 17:14-16). We are in the world but not of it.

Stop absorbing the room like Solomon. Become the magnet like Jephthah—so you can enter the world without becoming like the world, and so the world can be drawn to the light within you. I pray for you: May the Lord magnetize you in private so you don't absorb the world in public. Your season of reflection is not isolation; it is preparation. Use it to get ready for those who need you.

Be blessed

May: The month of Reflection

1 Kings 11:4,6
[4]For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David.
[6]Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and did not fully follow the Lord, as did his father David.

So many gifted people believe that gift is greater than obedience. Some think gift gives them immunity from the laws and ordinances from God. King Solomon made the same mistake. He thought he was wise enough not to be ensnared, he thought he was wise enough to disobey with convincing excuses.

After dedicating the house of the Lord, Solomon built the king's house and married a lot of strange women. He began to reflect the women he married. One way or the other, we end up reflecting our partners, the ones who we chose to be loyal to. The king gifted with wisdom ended up taking the image of the 700 wives and it was recorded he did evil in the eyes of the Lord. His heart was devoted in using his gift to gather wealth, women and had strategic business partners but never devoted his heart to God.

I pray for you; May you receive guidance and counsell from the Almighty when you are about to make critical decisions and choices. May people glorify God in you.

Be blessed

May: The month of Reflection

Exodus 34:29-30
[29]Now it was so, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the Testimony were in Moses’ hand when he came down from the mountain), that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him.
[30]So when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come near him.

Our lives are a reflection of whom we hace spent the most time with, what we have spent the most time seeing and hearing. Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:33 said, "Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” many have entertained evil company in the guise that they want to bring them to Christ but were corrupted in the long run because it is a universal law that you reflect what you spend time with.

Moses after spending 40 days in Mount Sinai with God, he cam down with the tablets but when he saw the people worshiping a golden calf, he broke the tablets and returned to be with God again for another 40 days, bringing to total his days with God to 80. When he returned, the skin of his face shone and he did not know it.

When you spend enough time with El shaddai, even your outward appearance begin to tell a story that blows the mind of many away. In just 90 days with the Ark of Covenant, the household of Obed-edom had a new song on their lips.

I pray for you: May tge Lord grant you strength and never tire to know Him. I rebuke the spirit of complacency that steals your time to knowing God.

May: The month of Reflection

Philippians 3:10 [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]

Paul had a deep desire and understanding of God, that when you receive Him, you must change. When you change it is not just changing anyhow, but it’s changing to reflect Him on earth. Yesterday we spoke about changing to reflect the word, because Jesus is the word. Paul says in order to reflect Him, there are things that you must consider as rubbish or dung.

You need to begin to sacrifice certain things In your life Inorder to transform and reflect Christ. The life of a Christian is about sacrifice and reflection. As you change according to the word, you will see that it’s more about confirming from the word into the image and likeness of Christ.

That’s why Paul says he wants the know Christ and to know the power of His resurrection. He wants to become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Christ. He wants to perceive, recognize and understand Hos person more strongly and more clearly. These are the attributes that cause you to reflect Him. Have a hunger for Him. Don’t just go to church without a zeal and hunger for Him to fill you.

Be blessed

May: The month of Reflection

James 1:22-25
[22]Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
[23]Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror
[24]and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
[25]But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.,

The purpose we have the word is that it should change use until we are like it, until we are its reflection. It is not an event but a process. Paul writes in Galatians 4:19 "My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you,"

When all has been said and done, what will matter is how much of the Word ie Christ is formed in you. How much do you reflect Him. The purpose of hearing the word is so that we change and not forget, continuing in it until the end.

Adonai tells Joshua that do not let th word depart from your mouth but meditate on it day and night. For then YOU will make YOUR way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Josh 1:8) It clear that when you meditate upon the Word, you will become one with Him to the point it will be you who will make your way prosperous, not God but you, who would have personified God.

Let the word marinate you, until you are Him!

May: The month of Reflection

And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when He came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while He talked with him.
[Exodus 34:29]

We spoke of an ultimate goal of reflecting Christ in every way. There are incidences and places where God revealed the manifestation of reflection to us. Moses would go up the mountain, pray and commune with God. When he came down he reflected the presence of the one who he was in intimacy with.

This is a situation where we should ask ourselves, after prayer and the word, who do we reflect? When we spend time in prayer, who do we come out reflecting? Whose glory are you carrying every time you pray and speak the word of God.

Your skin should reflect the glory of the God you worship and serve. Your health should reflect, your finances should reflect. Everything should reflect the glory of your God.

In this season of reflection, desire to come from His presence carrying a reflection of Gods glory.

Be blessed
