The Catholic University of Zimbabwe Choir is heading to Gweru for the CASSA Choir Competition, where they’ll be delivering the curtain-raising performance. We wish our choir the very best as they represent CUZ with pride. If you’re interested in joining us for the February 2027 Intake, come through and get all the information you need about studying at CUZ.

CUZ will be in Gweru for the CASSA choir competition and will use the chance to enrol students on the spot. Join us on 26 September 2026, 8 AM–1 PM, at Gweru Diocese Pastoral Centre, Opposite Dabuka Railway Station. Application Fees: $20 for undergraduates and $30 for postgraduates. Bring certified copies of your Birth Certificate, O & A Level Certificates, and National ID.

The Catholic University of Zimbabwe (CUZ) was honoured to welcome Dr. Guy Adjadji, a Missio Representative from Germany, for an on-the-ground monitoring and advisory visit focused on the Psycho-Spiritual Social Support Program (PSSSP).

The visit provided an opportunity to reflect on the program's progress, engage with its implementation, and strengthen the work being done to promote psychological, spiritual, and social well-being.

Through collaboration, shared learning and meaningful partnerships, CUZ continues to advance initiatives that place the whole person at the heart of development and service.

The Catholic University of Zimbabwe ENACTUS team proudly represented CUZ at the 2026 ENACTUS National Competition, held on 3–4 September in Harare, securing an impressive third place in League 2.

Beyond the competition, our students gained valuable insights into innovation, entrepreneurship, teamwork, and creating solutions that make a meaningful difference in communities.

We are also proud to celebrate Courtney Coffee, who will represent CUZ at the ENACTUS Global Research Network Research Global World Cup in Brazil, presenting “Growing Food, Growing Futures.”

On Saturday, 5 September, the Catholic University of Zimbabwe Innovation Hub came alive with the E4Impact MBA Business Idea Model Bootcamp Competition, the thrilling culmination of the Initial Bootcamp that launched the 8th Edition cohort of the MBA in Zimbabwe.

34 dynamic entrepreneurs, ranging from fresh idea-stage founders to seasoned business owners, showcased their innovative business models before three distinguished panels of judges made up of CUZ faculty, E4Impact alumni, and industry experts.

Each presentation was met with personalized feedback, empowering participants to refine and strengthen their models for real-world impact. The atmosphere was electric, filled with creativity, collaboration, and the spirit of entrepreneurship.

This competition not only marked the beginning of their MBA journey but also set the tone for a transformative experience, building businesses that inspire, innovate, and drive inclusive growth in Zimbabwe and beyond.

Zimbabwe Public Service Commission Engages CUZ Students

On Monday, 7 September 2026, the Catholic University of Zimbabwe hosted the Public Service Commission for an insightful public lecture focused on career opportunities, e-recruitment, innovation, and the responsible use of technology.

Students were introduced to the PSC’s e-recruitment platform and encouraged to embrace innovation, use technology ethically, and develop solutions that contribute to job creation and national development.

We sincerely thank the Public Service Commission, our students, staff, and everyone who helped make this engagement a success.
