In your marital journey, do that which you both agreed upon at the first [Amos 3:3] and not change goal posts in between the journey [Psalms 15:4b sweareth to his own hurt and changeth not], for the LORD doesn't take lightly those who vow and don't fulfil [Ecclesiastes 5:4-6]. Also, having put your hand to the plough, shall you today now be looking back [Luke 9:62]? Stay heavenly blessed and edified! Shalom!

When people look at your marriage, what is it they see? When we're believers, it's really All Eyes On Us because we literally would have declared ourselves to be the children of the Light/day and not of the dark/night! So people watch to see if there is anything good to admire and emulate. As He [Christ] who hath called us is holy, so we're to be holy in all manner of conversation/conduct; because it is written, [there are those powerful words right there, it is written], be ye holy, for I am holy! That's 1 Peter 1:15,16! In the light of that, Christ says, As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world in John 9:5! What then ought we to be if not what Christ tells us that we are, the light of the world? Marriages, especially among believers are sinking faster at this time than at any other period, and the world is seen to not believe in the institute any longer and not hold it in high esteem because of what they're witnessing amongst those who profess to be Christians. Fight a good fight to be the light of the world as long as you are in this world. Hurt not your spouse in any way because in essence you're really hurting Christ, crucifying the Son of God afresh and putting Him to an open shame [Hebrews 6:4-6]! That precious blood that was spilt for you and me must not be taken as a vain thing lest we suffer the wrath of the LORD in the day when all will be judged! Now we make errors in our marriages, I'll be the first to admit; and I'll also admit that, that aside, I also strive to do according to the word in regards to my marriage that others might receive hope that there really is a beautiful future in marriage and it isn't all doom and gloom as most say! I've seen how the divorce rate is escalated and the reason for that is because people are getting married without getting to ever find out God's purpose for marriage! Is there a purpose? Of course there is!

Malachi 2:15, open the Bible and or your Bible and read it! Now when you have known the purpose, it doesn't end there. You now need to be aligned with that purpose in character, else you'll just be another statistic, 6 months and the marriage collapses,,,,
