The 2024 ZCC 2nd Cohort explored Zimbabwe's artistic heritage at the National Art Gallery of Zimbabwe on 30 November 2024.
They gained inspiration and insight from the nation's art scene. The experience is said to have been thought provoking as the group enjoyed discussing and sharing what the art pieces meant to each of them.

Friday, 2 August, was the 2024 ZCC Interns Graduation Day, in celebration of 8 full weeks of professional work experience here in Zimbabwe by 2nd and 3rd year Zimbabwean university students abroad.

During the 8 weeks, interns expanded their professional network in Zimbabwe, Africa and other parts of the world, enriched their intellectual wealth and gained professional work experience.

🎓🌟Congratulations to the 2024 ZCC cohort for paving their journey to a smooth transition back home.

On 5 July, the Zimbabwe Career Connect interns immersed themselves in a day filled with culture, adventure, and insights on their educational trip to KwaTerry in Mhondoro, Ngezi Turf. The interns savored delicious traditional cuisine, had fun activities like quad biking and traditional hand and foot ball games. The highlight was hearing nuggets of wisdom from Terence Maphosa, the founder and CEO of KwaTerry Chickens, a young visionary leader in the the intern's age group who exemplifies global exposure and community impact. His story and dedication left the interns motivated and eager to make a difference. Here's to memorable experiences and the power of inspiration! 🍲🚀

We were privileged to host Lindiwe Mutungamiri USAP ‘17 an inspiring entrepreneur currently pursuing her Master’s in Computer Science at Arizona State University, USA, for a ZCC information session on Friday, 28 June. Lindiwe shared invaluable insights on the art of networking both in-person and virtually, empowering interns with practical strategies to forge meaningful connections and build professional relationships. Her journey from co-founding LITH Africa, building Eighty-nine in a PhD lab at ASU to now being in Zimbabwe for 3 months forming partnerships, understanding the Zim medical context, and testing the feasibility of Eighty-nine platform demonstrates the transformative power of education and entrepreneurship in creating positive social impact.
