Today, the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy (ZID) joins the nation in honouring the courage, sacrifice and unwavering patriotism of our national heroes and heroines who dedicated themselves to the freedom and sovereignty of Zimbabwe.

As we commemorate Heroes Day, we remember with gratitude those whose sacrifices shaped our nation. As we mark Defence Forces Day, we salute the men and women who continue to serve and safeguard our country with dedication and courage.

May the legacy of service, unity, patriotism and selflessness continue to inspire present and future generations.
