This is an Italian love song by Antonio Lotti, a composer of the Baroque era. In this song, the writer celebrates because he can finally be with his beloved.

Here is a video of me performing the haunting “Élégie” by the French composer Jules Massenet. I was then a student in Lorna Kelly Studio in Harare.

In the years since this particular performance, Lorna’s exceptional methods and techniques have distilled into my own vocal teaching.

Richard Hartnack has been a friend and music colleague for several years. He was a student of mine but I also knew him to be a very good music tutor and extremely intelligent. He has a great sense of humour as well and always sang with good musical insight and excellent intonation. I would not hesitate to recommend him as a music/singing teacher.
