Litchi trees can be successfully grown in other parts of Zimbabwe, not only Honde Valley. In Chivhu, where the climate is cooler, the Litchi fruits ripen between December and February, compared to October to December for Honde Valley.

Using this method I simplify my life today, because after each salary, I have money to buy fruits.

My mind doesn't THINK about HOW the fruits were grown, whether herbicides and pesticides and chemical fertilizers were applied, and the effects of these things on my health. I also don't think about the fact that when I buy fruits, I pay everyone, the farmer, the transporters, the middlemen, the supermarket staff, the supermarket rentals electricity and refuse collection.

TOMORROW my life gets complicated because if I lose the job, I lose the source of money to buy fruits, and again my money gets finished from buying fruits, leaving me broke. The fruits, if not organically grown, may cause me chronic illnesses, which lead to hospital bills.

2. Plant fruit trees. This option involves a lot of THINKING, which complicates my life. How to plant, protect, manure, water, prune the trees... Where to plant, when to plant, which varieties to plant....❓❓❓Difficult questions which complicate my life today.

However, if I complicate my life today, when the fruit trees start fruiting, they give me so much fruit, which I know how it was grown, I don't have to pay EVERYONE, and I can sell excess fruits, getting more money. Even if I lose my job, I will still eat fruits❗❗❗ My life will be simpler tomorrow.
