Founded in 1914, St Francis Xavier’s Kutama College is a Catholic Boys College located 84km from Harare along Robert Mugabe highway under the Catholic Diocese of Chinhoyi administered by the Marist Brothers . Kutama College Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Team Shines at CBC Competitions
Kutama College’s Computer-Aided Design (CAD) team proudly participated in the annual CAD Quiz and Projects Competitions held at Christian Brothers College (CBC) in Bulawayo.
We are delighted to share that our learners performed exceptionally well. The Art, Textile Technology and Design team achieved 1st position out of 16 participating schools, earning the title of Gold Medalists. The Design and Technology/Product Design team also excelled, securing 2nd position and becoming the Silver Medalists.

Kutama College 2025 Speech and Prize Giving

The 2025 Kutama College Speech and Prize Giving Day was a vibrant celebration of academic excellence, talent, and forward-thinking education. Guided by the theme “Careers for the 21st Century: Skills, Innovation, and Purpose,” the event highlighted the College’s enduring commitment to nurturing young men and women equipped to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

The day began with inspiring speeches from the College's principal Mr Mukoyi and the Provincial Education Director whose speech was read by Mr Chipare the deputy director human resources provincial offices. They emphasized the importance of aligning education with the evolving demands of the modern workplace. They encouraged students to cultivate creativity, adaptability, and integrity core values essential for meaningful careers in the digital age.

Awards were presented to outstanding students in academics, leadership, sports, and cultural activities, recognizing their dedication and excellence. The event also acknowledged the hard work of teachers and parents, whose collective support continues to uphold Kutama College’s proud legacy of distinction.

In his keynote address, the guest speaker Bishop Raymond Mupandasekwa underscored the need for students to embrace innovation and lifelong learning, reminding them that success in the 21st century is defined not only by skills and technology, but also by purpose and service to others.

The ceremony concluded with musical performances and heartfelt reflections from graduating students, leaving the audience inspired by the College’s enduring mission to educate young men and women who are not only competent and confident, but also compassionate and visionary leaders for the future.
