This weekend I got to share my voice as part of .
As women our voice has been buried under expectation, fear, and the need to please. My hope is that we stop performing and start showing up as themselves. Fully. Clearly. Unapologetically.
The Finishing School
The term “finishing school” carries a rich history and symbolism. In our context, the term “finishing school” represents a transformational journey.
Traditionally, finishing schools were institutions that empowered young people with the necessary skills and refinement to excel in society. The word “finishing” is associated with the concept of refinement and polishing. Just as finishing touches enhance the quality and appeal of a product or artwork, we are dedicated to refining and enhancing the capabilities and potential of individuals. The te
Book Club with Ruvheneko!
So many nuggets from Becoming Bulletproof by Evy Poumpouras. As a journalist and moderator, Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa has consistently stepped into spaces where difficult conversations must happen engaging leaders, interrogating ideas, and confronting issues that matter to society. Through media, public dialogue, and national conversations, she has carved out a role as a conversation leader , helping society reflect on the issues shaping Zimbabwe today.
Public life comes with scrutiny, criticism, and constant challenge yet she has remained resilient through it all. You could say her name opened doors, but what is undeniable is the intentional investment she has made in her craft to become a true household name. Watching her evolve into someone so resilient and unshakable has been deeply inspiring.
My biggest takeaway, pick one problem you want to become synonymous with solving and commit to it. Build a reputation so strong that when the question is asked, your name is already the answer.
Busyness is not productivity. Do ONE thing that moves you toward your goal, audit your time and eliminate all things that don’t grow you.
Who is behind the mask?
As an MBTI specialist, I’ve learned that our personality is the blueprint of who we are, while our persona is the mask we wear to navigate the world.
Some Reflection:
1. Which mask do you wear most often?
2. How does it feel wearing the mask? Liberating, protective, or limiting?
3. Which parts of your true personality are hidden behind it?
Come learn how to step into your power authentically 🥂.
Inherited Identity!
This identity comes from labels, and expectations given to you by parents, relatives, teachers or kumaraini. The danger with labels is you may live your life reacting to a label that was never yours in the first place.
1. What nicknames or labels were you given growing up?
2. Which ones empowered you?
3. Which ones limited you?
4. Which ones still shape your choices today?
Who are you?
Some questions for you?
1. If I take away your qualifications, your titles and roles how would you describe yourself?
2. How would you want people to describe you when they leave your presence?
Join us for the next couple of weeks as we breakdown identity🥂
Questions are Directions!
Are your questions directing you forward or making you stuck?
The direction you lean towards determines where you’ll end up. When we ask empowering questions, we open doors to new opportunities, solutions, and perspectives. When things don't go as planned try asking yourself :
What can I learn from this experience?
How can I grow through this challenge?
What step will take me closer to my dreams?

Give yourself permission to be!
Have you ever had someone who just rubbed you the wrong way and you couldn't explain why? Maybe they’re just wired differently from you. And that’s okay.
Understanding yourself and others is a superpower. That’s where MBTI comes in. This can be for you, for a couple, a group of friends or a family . This will help uncover how you're wired and how to connect with those who aren't.
Self-awareness is powerful and social intelligence is transformational.
Happy New Year 🥂.
Who runs your world?
Understanding "Who is running your world" is a life changing practice. It requires introspection to recognise which version of yourself is influencing your decisions and behaviours.
By regularly reflecting on these aspects and asking the right questions, you can consciously redirect your actions and move toward becoming the most empowered version of yourself.

You live what you believe!
I recently had the priviledge of speaking at the Women in Dentistry .zaniedinika event with a Bridgerton theme where I shared a talk titled, "You Live What You Believe." It was an inspiring gathering filled with accomplished and driven women, forming an association to shape the future of their profession. I was honored to contribute to the conversation and to explore a topic I am passionate about, the power of belief in shaping our lives.
In my talk, I encouraged everyone to see themselves not just as passengers in life but as the architects of their own existence. Too often, we settle into beliefs and routines that make us feel as if our paths are already defined, as if the best we can do is merely accept what life hands us. Yet, deep down, we know there’s more. To truly live with purpose and efficacy, we must confront and challenge the limiting beliefs that keep us from becoming who we want to be.
To every woman in that room, I dared them to believe they can 👊🏾👊🏾.
To you Dear Gentle Reader, know that we each have the power to live courageously and intentionally, designing a life we truly believe in and love.
